Everything Always Works Out for Me
…and how believing that changes everything.
There’s something quietly radical about whispering to yourself,
“Everything always works out for me.”
Especially when it feels like nothing is working out at all.
When Fear Was the Default
I used to live in fear.
Fear of not having enough money.
Fear of being alone.
Fear of messing it all up, or not being good enough to begin with.
And the more I feared, the more that fear seemed to come true. Not because I’m cursed—but because fear distorts everything. It fogs your vision. It drains your energy. And it magnetizes more chaos, because you’re operating from a belief that things won’t work out.
I thought I was being “realistic.” I thought I was being prepared. But I was just exhausted and bracing for impact, all the time.
And nothing changed… until I did.
The Shift: From Panic to Surrender
No one told me to try surrender. That word used to make me cringe—sounded like giving up. But it’s not.
Surrender is leaning into what is, instead of wasting all your energy resisting it. It’s pausing in the middle of the mess and saying,
“Okay. This is where I am. Now what?”
That surrender opened the door. And into that tiny crack of willingness, a new practice was born:
I took a breath.
I looked around.
And I picked one small thing to feel joy about.
Maybe it was a bird singing. Maybe it was my dog snoring. Maybe it was that first sip of coffee. That one tiny moment of peace became an anchor.
And with that, I started to believe something new:
Maybe life wasn’t working against me.
Maybe the Divine actually DID have my back.
The Power of Belief (Even If You’re Not 100% Sure Yet)
We don’t need to be perfect believers. We just need to lean in.
Because here’s what I’ve seen—again and again, even on the worst days:
💫 The more negative energy we pour into a situation, the heavier it gets.
💫 But even a drop of trust can shift the energy.
💫 When we stop trying to control the outcome and start trusting the process, things soften. Doors crack open. Unexpected help shows up.
It’s not magic. It’s alignment.
Spiritual Tool: The Joy Anchor Breath
Here’s a simple tool I use when things feel like they’re spinning:
-
Pause. (Even just for 10 seconds.)
-
Breathe in slowly. Feel your body, right where you are.
-
Find one small thing that feels good. A soft pillow. A flower. The fact that you’re still here.
-
Exhale with intention. Say aloud or silently:
“Everything is working out for me. It always does.”
Do I believe it 100% every time? No. But I believe it more than I used to.
And that’s enough to keep the energy moving in the right direction.
You’re Allowed to Trust That Life Wants to Support You
You are not lazy for needing rest.
You are not broken for having fear.
But you are allowed to choose trust. You’re allowed to believe that the Universe, God, Spirit—whatever you call it—wants joy for you. Wants healing. Wants peace.
Even when you’re overwhelmed.
Even when the outcome is uncertain.
Even when things still look like a mess.
Start where you are.
Breathe.
Find joy, however small.
Say the words—even if you whisper them:
Everything always works out for me.
Let it become a prayer. Let it become a practice.
Let it change everything.
